I make a lot of sweaters.

Sometimes (often) I offer them anyway (the opinions).
I think making clothing for one's self can provide a boost to one's self esteem and the confidence to try something new. I don't think that experience is limited by age, gender, body type, or culture. I wear my handknits a lot.
